Adult MOTRIN® IB. Long-term morphine use can. It can also be given by injection in a vein (IV), muscle (IM), or under the skin (subcutaneous or SQ). Between 3 and 6 mg of oral morphine provides pain relief equivalent to 1 mg of parenteral morphine. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 caplets at bedtime.
